We house a state-of-the-art DynoJet in-ground, 248 chassis dynamometer that can accurately measure 1200 RWHP at 200 MPH using the latest technology in electronic data acquisition enabling critical engine function graphing.   From “baseline dyno runs” to “see how much horsepower you’re making” to “Research and Development Programsâ€

Our chassis dyno cell is located within the facility walls of Cozzolino Motorsports. This test cell is further enhanced by a highly efficient ventilation system that can completely exchange all of the air in the room once per minute by the aid of a 15,000 cfm ventilation fan. This ventilation system allows us to help control the room air condition, so that pull-to-pull repeatability and power measurement accuracy can be achieved. Most shops do not have this! Lastly, safety is of extreme importance here at Cozzolino Motorsports, so multiple fire extinguishers and various safety devices are in place to protect you, your vehicle and the CM staff while the vehicle is being tested on the chassis dyno.

The test cell was designed to have the capability to dyno a multitude of different vehicles to be tested from any manufacturer or racing vehicle type. Vehicles from drag and oval track racing are welcome here in addition to high performance street vehicles of the front or rear wheel drive configuration, domestic and import.

Our chassis dyno has a myriad of data logging input sensors, in addition to our full engine data acquisition capability. We can track, log and graph nearly every critical function of an engine or chassis combination, including real time air/fuel ratio. That information can then be saved to a disc or printed out to reference it in the future. Our data acquisition system uses a wideband AFR sensor to accurately measure air/fuel ratio and you have the option of having the sample taken with an exhaust probe from the tail pipe or with a sensor bung at the header pipe, whichever you desire. Finally, our weather-sensing module is self-compensating and automatically changes with the environment as it happens so you can be assured of accurate corrected power measurement.

We have calibration gas on site to check wideband 02 sensor accuracy.   We can check your cars on board system as well.  Many aftermarket widebands are over a full point off!!!   Almost nobody offers this incredibly important service.

We offer chassis dyno time and tuning  by the pass, the hour or the day, to the performance enthusiast that builds and maintains his or her own vehicle to the full time professional race team R & D program.

For the racing vehicle owners that prefer to do their own tuning and testing, we provide you the option to rent the chassis dyno for as long as you need to further develop your engine or chassis combination to achieve its maximum performance level.

FIRST TIME DYNO USERS PLEASE READ

- Prep the car as if you are going to the race track.
- Have fuel in the tank and the battery charged!!!!
- Have fresh fuel of the type you will race with.  2 month old fuel in your fuel cell will loose as   much as 15 hp on a 400 to 500 hp crate engine!
- Rear stagger needs to be kept to less than ¼ inch.
- Minimum width between drive tires is 28â€
- Exhaust leaks will cause the wideband readings to show lean.
- Gear for the longer tracks that you run.
